During the evaluation and as part of our tender process, we had to recognize that many providers can in principle ‘do everything’, but hardly any ‘have everything’. We therefore decided on the IAM system because the standard solution from OEDIV SecuSys GmbH is configurable and modelable within wide limits without major and costly customization (i.e., programming) effort and met the majority of our requirements (except for some specific formation rules) virtually “out of the box”.

During our project “Introduction of Identity Management (IDM) within the Ehrmann Group,” we tested various tools via webcasts and on-site trial installations for our use. From our perspective, the IAM by OEDIV SecuSys GmbH was able to successfully implement most requirements regarding Active Directory, IBM Notes, SAP, and the OTRS ticket system. Furthermore, it is possible to flexibly shape the system and customize it according to individual needs via change requests at OEDIV SecuSys GmbH. The four mentioned systems were successfully connected and have been in productive use since early 2017. User master data is largely managed by the HR department in the IAM web portal. The user interface of the web portal could be adapted and expanded according to our ideas. The IAM is now increasingly integrated into our corporate group and continuously expanded.
